Singapore River Regatta 2011.
A picture paints a thousand word. We fought hard not only for medals, but for a bigger picture we can now see.
After a whole year of preparation. It came down to this important day.
It was indeed a challenging year with unexpected circumstances where every team had to face. We overcame them with confidence and the strong will to fight.
Inter-business we managed to come in 4th in Grand Finals. For 20 men open premier, we clocked 59s for heats. More importantly, in this race we know we are on the right track with everyone working together as a family and fighting hard as a team.
We live to fight another day. We may have to bid farewell to some but we welcome others to the family. 2012 will be another great year for PAWV as we forsee good changes and additions coming our way. Finger crossed.
Refer to gallery and race results for more details and also stay tune for recruitment 2012!
Team PAWV wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God bless and see you Kallang Water-Venture next year 2012!

Team PAWV shines at 5 Men Crew 2011!
This was a really challenging race where the original race distance was changed from 200m to 350m on last minute notice. We found out on the day itself, along with perhaps a few other teams. However, we managed to do better than we expected. We went into Grand, Minor and 2 Plate Finals. The results are shown below.

More pictures are uploaded in Gallery.
It was indeed an exciting and meaningful day for team PAWV and we got to chat with old friends again. We look forward to Singapore River Regatta 2011 in November.

One of the BEST SDBF race by TeamPAWV! 3 Plates, 3rd position in all 3 Categories - 22 crew (men), 22 crew (mix) and 12 crew (men)!! A great milestone achieved!!!
It was indeed one of the most memorable and amazing race Team PAWV has ever been through. First time in Team PAWV Dragon Boat history that we won 3 Plates, 3rd position in all 3 categories we participated in - 22 crew National Championship (Men), 22 crew Open (mix), 12 crew Inter-business, clubs and housesa and clocked the best timings so far.
We also celebrated the June and July babies by buying Birthday Muffins at the race. Happy Birthday to Jasmine and Kai Yong! It was a nice time when the rain came in and we managed to take a break to make merry! It was a fantastic time to celebrate our winnings and re-energize us for our last race - 22 crew National Championship Men Plate final. ^^ We had almond, chocolate chip and banana walnut muffins!

PA Paddle Championship 2011!
We do not fear what we are incapable of, but embrace what we are capable of. When faced with adversity, we will respond together with one voice, one heart and one soul: "YES WE CAN"!
This year PA Paddle Championship is on 16th and 17th April 2011! After a lot of training, sweat, blood and tears; it has finally arrived. We were especially excited due to the unexpected outcomes and also the strong competition that we will be facing.
Nevertheless, we never feared what we don't have but embraced what we do. The results were indeed surprisingly unexpected as well. We performed so much better, in fact it is the BEST PA has ever achieved to date.
It was so important that this race served as a platform of what the team is capable of and what we will be able to achieve in the races to come this year. Together with one voice, one heart and one soul; We will shout out loud "BRING IT ON!" With the right attitude, passion and love. YES WE CAN DO IT! ^^
At the same time with such great results and success on the first day, we celebrated our APRIL BABIES!!! MENG AND WEI JIE =) May you be blessed with all the love and good health.
Thank you SUPPORT PARTY who came down to support us. Your presence was greatly appreciated and made a difference to the team. WE LOVE YOU!

It's the time again to celebrate the wonderful births of our rowers of February and March. It is these people who make a difference in the team and their contribution regardless big or small; we appreciate them equally. Simple celebrations like these remind us of our love for the team, amidst the tough training, for one another and for the sport we are so passionate in. We are willing to fight together as family to achieve higher and more each time we compete. ^^ We will fight hard.

End of Season 2010. A Tribute to Kallang Water-Venture Club: HOME of TeamPAWV
Every weekend, we train at Kallang Water-Venture Club. This place has become a home to us. A place where we gather to train, laugh, cry and have fun. A place where strangers become friends and friends to brothers and sisters. We care for one another's well-being, families, studies, work, etc. We share all these life changing moments here in Kallang. It is peaceful, scenic and contemplative.
One could easily be drawn to its mysterious greenery, beauty and serene charm. It has a calming effect until ruined by loud cheers from the team. This place has survived the test of time and it has not changed a bit. Yes, the running tracks are renovated, more pavilions and pontoons are built, increased crowds, etc. But the feeling is always the same. It is where TeamPAWV calls Home.

TeamPAWV celebrates PA Trainers' Night @ Concorde Hotel on 5 Dec 2010 Sunday.
It's the end of the year and this year's Theme is 'A Sporty Affair'! PA cordially invites all Water-Venture Trainers for a night of delicious dinner, fun-filled activities and great company to recognize and appreciate their efforts.
Water-Venture participants have increased two -fold since 2008 from estimated 25,000 to 52,000 participants. There was also an increase in the participation trend from the grassroots community. It was an outstanding achievement this year with great success.
TeamPAWV committee members were invited to join in this wonderful night of celebration. It truly showed us how united is the Water-Venture organization as a family; similar to what our team is like. We have eight (8) different outlets island-wide and everyone had a lot of fun together as one big family! ;)
